We are enjoying having Noah at home.

This is Noah in his cradle in our room. My great-grandmother who was born in 1901 and all of my relatives since then on my Dad's side of the family including me, my brother, and Annalise have all slept in it.

Now that Annalise is a big sister she has some new chores. Here is Jon showing her how to mow the lawn.

Home from the NICU

Noah came home from the NICU tonight and got to meet Annalise! Before he could come home, we had to spend the night in the NICU in a little hotel room they have there.

Annalise got to hold Noah and help feed him a bottle. It was just darling. :)

Recent Pics and NICU Update

Noah is still in the NICU and is doing well. His blood sugars are getting better. He has an IV in his hand and one in his belly button. The one in his belly button should be removed tonight which means we will get to hold him for the first time tomorrow- I am SO excited!!! He is a fat little dumpling! Here are some recent pics-

Annalise came up to the hospital to visit and Noah gave her a baby with a bottle and car seat.

Pics in the NICU

Noah is in the Neonatal ICU because of his deficiency in controlling his blood sugars. Since he got big doses of sugar from Amelia (b/c of her diabetes), he overproduces insulin. It will be a bit until he can get out. The same thing happened with Annalise, so we knew it was coming. No big deal.

Exciting news. I bet you can't guess what it is...Noah is here!

Amelia is resting, so Daddy gets to post some fun pics for all to see. Here we go.

Here's Amelia last night...all big and pregnant. Keep in mind that this is at 8 months! She's huge and lovely. And below is the picture of her right before she went in to the operating room for the caesarian. The doctor was still trying to convince her to have a conventional delivery, but Amelia wasn't interested after having Annalise, also known as Gigantor at the time of her birth. She was especially motivated because Noah is seriously outpacing Annalise on the fatness scale, which I guess is just a regular scale :)
When I got in the operating room, this is how I found Amelia. Don't worry, no gruesome pics ahead (except for a big fat baby).

9 pounds 8 ounces and 19.3 inches tall. A full pound heavier than Annalise. Can you believe it?
Tired Amelia resting after a successful surgery. Please pray for a speedy recovery. Praise the Lord! May God draw Noah to Himself in a fulfilled life of joy and faith.

Baby Update and Extreme Cuteness

The results of my amnio are in Noah will be arriving on Friday! I am scheduled to have a c-section at 9:15am! I am so glad and really, really ready to not be pregnant. There is no more room inside of me!

Annalise really loves Freda. Freda is very sweet and he taught her many anatomy lessons.

Pending Arrival!

I had a doctor's appointment today with the perinatologist and it looks like Jonathan Noah Dansby Jr. will be arriving sometime at the end of the next week! I am very excited to evict him from inside of me, he is huge! Today he was measuring to weigh 8lbs7ozs and I am only 35 weeks pregnant! I am having an amnio to make sure his lungs are ready at the beginning of next week. He has gained an entire pound since Thursday so who knows how beastly he will actually be by the time he arrives.

In other news, Annalise continues to be super darling. Here she is enjoying some boxes and wrapping paper.

We have also made some weak attempts at sleeping in "the big girl bed" but have not had any successes thus far.
