Christmas Time Was Here...

Christmas came and went way too fast this year! We had a super fun time in The Woodlands with my parents and my brother.

The week can be summed up well with these bloomers that my parents got for Annalise.


Annalise got sick with her first cold on Christmas Eve so she was a little cranky and under the weather the last two days we were there. We went to the doctor today but there isn't any medicine that will cure the common cold! :(

Score Update- Babies 1, Moms 0

A few weeks ago Courtney and I had a photo shoot. This was inspired by a bad experience Courtney had at the Target photo shop. We thought, "How hard can it be to take pictures of babies?" It turns out, it was MUCH harder than we thought! One of the babies was crying or spitting up the entire time. We hope to even out the score again sometime soon!

Getting Ready for Christmas!

Annalise is getting ready for Christmas! I think this first picture of her is one of my new favorites! Also, even though I am generally opposed to them, I made her a hair bow- I feel like she needs one when she wears Christmas clothes because they are so neutral and you can't tell she is a girl...






She is also getting ready for winter even though it hasn't gotten very cold yet in Texas...


Uncle Thomas came over today and was impressed by all of her drooling. I LOVE how blue her eyes look in all of these pictures.





And, she has started to really enjoy her turtle night light. It just amazes her.



I have some other pictures that I will post in a couple of days of a "photo shoot" that was a total disaster with Annalise and Grayson.

Fun times at the Mall

Earlier this week Annalise got to meet Santa at the mall! We met some friends there before the mall opened on Tuesday to go mall walking, like old ladies! It was cold and rainy outside so we had to change our usual Tuesday morning walking plans. We mall walked for about an hour and then saw Santa and had lunch at Chickfila.

Here is our pre-Santa stroller gang. Courtney and Grayson were there and so were Grace and Ellis.


Here is Annalise meeting Santa. I was trying to wake her up and she didn't want to wake up so she kept covering her face with her hands or screaming... Hopefully we can get a better pic next year.
We also hung out with Courtney and Grayson a lot on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. We have cute babies!

Holiday Happenings

We have been doing a few Christmas things around the house over the past week...

First we got out our Christmas dishes and Annalise helped me make Christmas cookies to decorate with my dteam girls at our Christmas party. Annalise looks like she wants to grab one in this picture!



We also put our Christmas lights outside up.



Here is the current status of our Christmas tree. I am not sure if I will get it put up or not this year. I am being peer pressured to do so, but I just don't want to have to take it down!!! I love how it looks when our house is decorated but... it really is such a pain to me when it is time to undecorate. It is also hard to get motivated since we will be spending Christmas at my parents' house.
