Christmas Fun!!!

We had a great Christmas this year! My parents and Thomas and Amy (with their lovely dog Hugo) came to stay at our house for a few days. Santa and presents were fun but the real highlight is celebrating Jesus's birth!

We decorated!

And welcomed our guests! Thomas and Amy and Hugo were also here but seemed to miss the camera.

We had some very excited cuties!
 I LOVE these elf PJs!!!

Here are some Christmas pics of Elliot-

 No hands!!!

Present mischief!

Here are some Christmas pics of my Noey-
He got the Gotham City Jail to go with his Imaginext Batcave. He was SO excited but was sad that he only got one of them, for some reason he was expecting to get two?
He also got some big boy boxers but still prefers his "brooves"
 More Batman fun!

And some of Annalise!

She got this snazzy new gymnastics leotard in her stocking. Her presents that she really wanted (and got!) were a telescope, binoculars (pronounced bee-noculars) and a camera.

My parents gave the kids a new and awesome swing set for our backyard. Jon and my Dad built it in two days while Annalise and Noah hung out with my Mom at my parent's house. They have had a blast swinging and climbing and sliding.

Adventures for Elliot

Elliot has been busy even though he has had a TERRIBLE double ear infection that has caused one of his ear drums to rupture 3 times. He hardly fussed when he was so sick, what a tough guy! Because this double ear infection wouldn't go away and he ended up being allergic to two of the antibiotics that are typically used to treat ear infections in little kiddos, the doctors decided he needed to have tubes put in his ears. I was SO excited that these would help him get well. He had been sick for over a month when the day for surgery came. Jon stayed home with the big kids and I took Elliot to the hospital. This waiting room picture is the only picture I got-

The surgery was SUPER fast and he recovered very quickly. Praise God for modern medicine! Here he is at home a few days before the surgery, he felt so bad and couldn't stop crying. He just wanted to lay down on Freda. He LOVES Freda!

And. here are some other random pictures of him to show off his mega cuteness!

When you say "How big is Elliot?" He raises his hands up in the air!
He is also very proud of his new skill- clapping!

And, just like Annalise and Noah he is a big fan of Jon's guitar playing...

Thanksgiving Fun / Noah Thinks He is a Super Hero

We spent the week of Thanksgiving visiting my parents in The Woodlands. We had a great time. It was relaxing and fun. Sadly, I didn't take many photos. Here are some photo highlights-

Gingerbread houses!

Look! Batman helped make a gingerbread house! Around Thanksgiving Noah started wearing his "bat suit" ALL the time. The bat suit is made of Batman footie PJs (very fleecy and sweaty), rain boots, a light blue cape, and this lovely plastic mask.
A visit to Santa! Noah cried when we left because he thought that Santa would give him the presents he wanted right then.
 Dressing up as Santa!
Making apple pies. Annalise cut some apples...
And Noah cut some apples... Please notice he is only wearing undies. If he can't be Batman he wants to wear boxer briefs and be Hulk, because when Bruce Banner turns into the Hulk, all of his clothes blast off except for his underwear. Noah calls these underwear "boxer brooves" and I NEVER want to forget that. It is so darling.
Annalise made 2 tiny pies all by herself.
