Big Smiles!

Elliot has the cutest smile. It overtakes his whole little body and lights up his face. It is hard to catch it with a camera but here are a couple. He is darling!!!

Easter!

Thomas and Amy came to visit and meet Elliot the weekend of Easter. We hunted Easter eggs on Saturday morning.

Elliotwatched thea ction from the patio-

On Sunday morning our church has it's service at the Frank Erwin Center (where University of Texas plays basketball) and it was awesome! I was nervous about getting all 3 kids there and being on time since it was my first solo outing (Jon had to get there very early) but we made it all in once piece and on time! Here are the kids before we left the house-

Matthew 28:6 "He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.".

First Weeks with Elliot

Here are some pics from our first weeks with Elliot. I'm trying to get caught up! He is growing and changing so quickly!

Looking handsome in a tie-
Me with THREE kids (and a dog)!
Elliot is SUPER strong and can almost roll over, he isn't even 3 months old yet!
I love this one of Elliot and Nana-
Almost a smile-
Love from Annalise-
Love from Noah-
His first outing was to Lowes to get some stuff for our yard, because big yard projects are always a great idea when you have a newborn. :)
 After his first bath-
3 kiddos (I think Noah has a dirt mustache in this pic)-
Annalise really wanted Elliot to snuggle on her chest-
More snuggles-
Lots of love from Annalise and Noah!
Looking handsome! This outfit has been hanging in our bathroom since we first met Elliot's birth mother. I hung it up where I would see it so I could remember to pray for him.

Noah is Hilarious!

First, check out this darling picture of Noah and Elliot. Noah could not be a prouder big brother. He can't get enough of Elliot (or his baby toys).

Here is why Noah is hilarious-

Story #1
The day we picked Elliot up in Waco we stopped and hung out and had lunch at the Baylor campus. While we were hanging out at the Bear Pit Noah saw a college boy (about 50 feet away) wearing a Batman shirt. It is between classes and there are lots of cool college kids everywhere. Noah YELLS as loud as he can "I like your Batman shirt!" Cool College Dude is kind of embarrased and gives Noah a little wave. Then Noah yells (again SUPER loud) "I have a Batman back pack and a Batman lunch box. It is VERY cool." My Mom and I were cracking up. All of the other kids walking to their classes were watching Cool College Dude in his Batman shirt. Cool College Dude seemed to be pretty embarrassed.

Story #2
After lunch at Baylor, Noah and I were walking out of the doors to the SUB. As we were walking out of the doors, 2 Muslim girls were walking in. These girls were wearing traditional Muslim clothing but did not have their faces covered. Noah loudly says "Oh, it is Mary! I see Mary! Where is Joseph and baby Jesus?" I am not sure if these sweet ladies heard what he said or not. This time my Mom and I were weeping we were laughing so hard.

I am sure we have many more funny Noah stories in our future!

Bringing Elliot Home

Jon was out of town when we got the news that it was time for Elliot to come home to our house so my Mom and the kids and I went to Waco to get him.

Here we are at the Generations office-

After we picked him up we went to the Baylor campus and let the big kids stretch their legs and run around by the bear pit and the old fountain. After that we took at trip down memory lane and ate lunch at the Chick-fil-a in the SUB. It was the first time I had been back on Baylor's campus in many years.
