Christmas Cuties!

Below are some highlights of Christmas 2009-

This is what you look like after too much Christmas fun-

Jumping Machine!

Annalise and Noah both got lots of fun toys from Santa. One of the most fun things is Annalise's new trampoline. She keeps saying "I'm a jumping machine!!!"

Noah even gave it a try!

Wrestling?

Noah is very strong and physical. He is also extremely interested in our dog, Freda. So, Freda has become Noah's reluctant wrestling partner.

Rice!

We had fun playing with uncooked rice over the break at Nana and Bubba's house. First my Mom and Annalise made a rice Baby Jesus which is basically a tube sock, rubber bands, and a washcloth.

Noah was very determined to get his hands on that big bag of rice! He crawled over to it SO fast and was all over Nana.

After we made the baby, Annalise played with the rest of the rice in the touch table. It was fun!

Happy Birthday, Jesus!

For our Christmas Eve dinner at the Fancy Table, Annalise helped my Mom and I make a very colorful rainbow cake to celebrate Jesus' birthday. Annalise really thought she looked awesome with her the cake all over her face. The Rainbow Cake recipe was surprisingly easy and tasted great!

Funny!

A few nights ago, after we put Annalise down to bed, we could over hear her talking to her toys in her bed. This was the "conversation" we heard repeated a few times-

"No I can not put that in my nose, silly. It's too big, silly!"

It was SO cute, especially the way she said "silly." It sounds like "sil-wee."

We have no idea what she was being told to put in her nose, but are very thankful it was too big. What a precious lady Annalise is!

Santa!

Time has just flown by for me this year and because of that, I never got around to taking the kids to the mall to see Santa and the idea of going to the mall this close to Christmas makes me nauseous. So, I decided we could skip Santa this year with out the kids really minding.

Saturday afternoon Jon took the kids to the park and Santa and Mrs. Claus walked right up to visit all of the kids playing at the park. Annalise and Noah got to see Santa after all! These pictures aren't the best since they are from Jon's phone. The picture of Noah is not one of his more flattering moments, I promise he isn't drugged. When Santa asked Annalise what she wanted for Christmas she kept saying "Yeah."

Playing Together

Annalise and Noah are getting better everyday at playing together. Annalise really wants him to do fun things with her and I think they will have a blast when he starts walking and cruising around on the furniture more. Noah still has to get in an occasional hair yank to let her know she isn't always the boss.
