Travels!

Today Jon got back from Guatemala. Annalise was so excited to see him! You can read all about their trip on the blog they posted on while they were gone. They had a great trip! Below is a picture of the entire group.

While Jon was gone Annalise and I spent two days at my parents house and then flew to Denver with my Mom to visit some old friends.

Here are some pictures from different things in Denver. We had a great time staying with Linda Z but we missed Christy and her daughter Montana a lot. We got to see my dear friend from elementary school, Katie and we got to meet her daughter Zoey. Annalise and Zoey are destined to be friends! Here we are in the airport and on the plane. It was Annalise's first flight and she did a pretty good job. As you can see from the picture below, she thought it was SO FUN to ride in the bus to the terminal!



Katie and I took the girls to the South Pool for a swim. This is where we would go swimming when we were in elementary school together.

On Friday afternoon we got to have lunch with me and Jon's good friend Sara and her new baby Jane.

Annalise was such a great sport and a flexible traveler the entire time we were gone (except for the plane ride back to TX). She wore herself out. She slept for 3 hours in the car today on our way back to Fort Worth from The Woodlands.

The Garden Hose and Other Happenings

Today Annalise and I played outside with the hose and she had SO much fun eating grass, getting wet, flinging water everywhere, making mud, and drinking out of the hose.

In other news, here is Annalise showing off her tooth!

Here she is enjoying some yogurt. Freda has become quite the shark and hangs out by the high chair as often as possible.

4th of July

We went to The Woodlands to visit my parents for the 4th of July. Thomas was also in town for the weekend so we all had lots of fun together. Annalise commemerated the 4th by eating ice cream and by staying up till 10:45pm to watch fireworks. We were busy and didn't take many pictures but here are some highlights...

Annalise test drove my Dad's new car-

She played outside in green grass, which is something we don't have at our house because we don't want to water our yard (more water = more mowing)!

We went to the park and she rode the big slide in our laps and also did some swinging-

Thomas babysat Annalise on Monday night so Jon and I could go to see Wall-E and he and Annalise had a very fun time!

He made her a toilet paper turban that she wore while she walked around the house...

He put her to work cleaning up...
