Rachel's Visit

Here are some pics from when Jon's sister, Rachel visited us a couple of weeks ago. We enjoyed her visit so much and are glad she got to come meet Annalise.

We spent a lot of time at the pool, it was really hot the weekend she was here! Annalise especially loved being held up over the fountain.

And we drove over to Dallas on Saturday night to have dinner with some of Jon's other family...

We are heading down to The Woodlands for a relaxing weekend/Annalise's first 4th of July.

Mail Call!

Annalise got a walking toy while we were in The Woodlands earlier this month, it is a post office! She loves walking around with it and checking/delivering her mail. It is darling.

Also, her she is a new seersucker dress from Jon's sister Rachel. She got several compliments on it at church on Sunday. I have some other pictures to post of Rachel's visit but they are missing out in cyber space (both of our laptops have completely died in the past two weeks) somewhere and I haven't had a chance to sit down and find them.

Catch Up Time!

Sorry for the long break in posting, my computer died and I downloaded a bunch of pictures on my computer at work and then left it at work for a week.

On June 10-12 Jon took 80 high school kids tubing in New Braunfels. Annalise and I went to visit my parents while he was gone and had lots of fun! Here are some of the highlights-

The day after we got back from The Woodlands, Annalise and I went to the Fort Worth Boat Club for some lunch and swimming with our Mom's Group buddies.

Also, Annalise had her 9 month appointment and she weighs 16 pounds 10 ounces and is 27 inches long. She is in the 15th percentile for weight and the 47th for height. She is getting to be so big! She got her first tooth and about half of her diet is real food. She loves cheese and chicken nuggets!

Chipotle!

Chipotle is Jon's favorite place to eat. He eats there about 4 times a week for either lunch or dinner, usually with high school students. Since he is a regular customer, he knows all of the managers and workers there. Last week, the manager gave him this very funny onesie for Annalise.

Getting Caught Up...

Lately, Annalise has been helping out around the house and earning her keep-

And, she even helped me bring in the dog food (which she secretly wishes should could eat)-

And, this is her customary greeting for other baby friends (especially Grayson), Freda, and Jon and I if we are down on the floor with her- a head butt!

Staff Retreat

This past week Jon and I took all of the high school interns on a staff retreat to my parents house (my parents are in Israel). We had a really fun time swimming and relaxing. We also brought along Annalise and Freda! Annalise enjoyed her first road trip in the church van and she got a lot of attention the entire time we were gone.
